Coach Amy played volleyball for College of Southern Idaho and was recruited by Utah State University. She still holds a blocking record for Utah State.
Amy began her coaching career in California before relocating to Texas in 1991. In 2007, she coached for Texas Airborne in the 12s division. In 2008, she opened Renegades Volleyball Club.
In 2011, Waddy joined as an owner of Renegades and together they have built a great program. Coach Amy has sent 4 athletes to college with full scholarships. She is also a proud mom of 2 volleyball athletes. Coach Amy handles the administrative and financial aspects of the club.
Coach Waddy started his volleyball coaching career in 2003. From 2003-present, he has spent his entire coaching career coaching 18s. He has sent 157 student athletes to colleges and universities on full scholarships, for a scholarship rate of 90 percent. In the last 4 years, he has sent 100% of our student athletes on full scholarship.
His teams have qualified five times for Nationals and most recently finished 17th at nationals in 2015. Coach Waddy played college football at Stephen F. Austin and later signed in 2003 with the Houston Texans but was later released.
Since then, he has been teaching and coaching in the Aldine/Klein District along with personal training. In the Klein District, he was formerly the Athletic Coordinator at Wunderlich Intermediate and is currently the head football and track coach at Kleb Intermediate.

Coach Jyra is a native of Gonzales, Louisiana. She began playing volleyball at the age of 10. As a 4-year letterman on Varsity at East Ascension High School, Coach Jyra was used as a utility player but predominantly played Setter and Outside Hitter.
Growing up in a small town, she was not exposed to competitive, off-season volleyball until the conclusion of her sophomore season. She began her club career playing at Bayou Bandits Volleyball Club in St. Amant, LA. During her junior and senior club seasons, she played for top teams at Red Storm Volleyball Club in Baton Rouge, LA.
Coach Jyra received a Division I scholarship to Texas Southern University in Houston where she earned honors of SWAC Newcomer of the Week and was ranked 3rd overall in assists during multiple seasons. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology following her volleyball career. She also possesses a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Texas A&M School of Public Health.
This will be Coach Jyra's 8th year at Renegades. Coach Jyra handles administrative aspects, uniforms, equipment, and communications with the club players and parents.

Coach Alicia began playing volleyball at the age of 10. Coach Alicia competed on JV and Varsity her freshman year at Magnolia High School as a Right Side hitter/setter while also running on the school’s track team. She joined her first club team at Willowbrook that same year and played for them throughout high school as a heavy handed 6 Rotation Outside Hitter.
They Qualified for the Junior Olympics multiple times and brought home medals from the Open division while traveling around the country. During her junior year due to a shoulder injury, she transition to a defensive player and played Libero as a Senior on Varsity, earning her defensive player of the year for the District, and Defensive Dandy for Magnolia High School.
Coach Alicia was recruited to a Division 1 College in Arlington, TX on a full ride scholarship as a Libero. During her Freshman year of college, she started each set as the only Libero and surpassed many UT-Arlington freshman records. In her Sophomore year, she played 1/2 a season as the 6 Rotation Outside Hitter, and was also dig leader of the team. In her Junior and Senior Year, she broke her own records for most digs and digs per set, and eventually climbed up to the top of the leaderboard for NCAA D1 digs/set in the country.
Coach Alicia ended her college career ranked 9th in the nation for digs per set, Defensive player of the year for the Southland Conference, and set the school record for total career digs with over 2,000 digs recorded during her time at UTA. Upon completing her college career and earning a Bachelor Degree in Business, she went on to join a professional volleyball tour where she played Overseas in Slovenia, Italy, and ending in Croatia.
Upon returning to the states, Coach Alicia began her coaching career with Renegades Volleyball Club. This season will be Coach Alicia's 7th year with Renegades where she plans to instill her passion, determination, and discipline driven mindset into young athletes who grace her court.

Coach Lisa started playing volleyball at the age of four with her babysitter who played Varsity Volleyball for the local High School. She began playing organized volleyball at the age of 11.
She played with Storm Volleyball Club - Black team and Storm Volleyball Club - Travel team for 4 years as a Right/Outside Hitter and Setter, and with Team North Texas Club 18 & Under for one year. Coach Lisa also played volleyball and soccer for Richland Senior High School.
Coach Lisa received several acknowledgements and awards. A severe ankle injury ended her dream of playing Collegiate Volleyball. However, she did continue to play volleyball in Greek Intramurals and Adult Leagues. Coach Lisa taught middle school ELAR in Irving, Texas for nine years before moving to Tomball. This will be Coach Lisa’s 6th season with Renegades.

Coach Makenna started her volleyball career playing school and club volleyball every year. She played for Magnolia West High School as a 4-year letterman outside hitter and was District MVP her senior year.
MaKenna also played club every year during the off season. She qualified for Nationals as a player in 2014 here at Renegades, coached by Coach Alicia and in 2015, coached by Coach Waddy. Makenna also qualified in the 2016 club season.
She was recruited and played at Lee College in Baytown on a full scholarship. Coach Makenna began her coaching career at Renegades in 2018 as the 15 Royal coach. This will be her 2nd season.
Coach Alleeyah grew up playing volleyball as her mom owned a volleyball club. She played club and school ball since the age of 11.
Alleeyah graduated with a BA in Mass Communication from Grambling State University in 2017 where she played volleyball on a full scholarship. During this time, she was recognized in her conference every year ranked as one of the top 3 libero.
Prior to college, she played for Hightower High School as a 2-year letterman and played club ball every year in the off-season.
She began her coaching career at YES Prep Academy in 2017 and joined Renegades in 2018 to coach 13 Royal team. Several of her players made top teams the following year.
Coach Tasha started her volleyball career at a young age participating at the YMCA. She then went on to play at Wunderlich on the A team 7th and 8th grade.
She started her high school career as a freshman on Junior varsity, then continued as a 3-year letterman on Varsity. During her years on varsity, she received recognition as 1st team All District, 2nd team All District, Sportsmanship award, and Best Teamwork.
After finishing high school, she went on to get a B.S in Public Health from the University of Houston. During her time there, she was apart of the University of Houston Women’s Club Volleyball team. Her team went on to place 3rd at the NCVF Nationals Championship the 2014 season and 5th the 2015 season.
She continues to play volleyball whenever she gets a chance indoor and in sand leagues. This will be Coach Tasha’s 4th season coaching for Renegades.
