Coach Jyra Churchill took over at the Owner/Director of Renegades after being Assistant Director for the past 2 years.   

Coach Jyra was a setter and played Division I volleyball at Texas Southern University. She earned honors of SWAC Newcomer of the Week and was ranked 3rd overall in the conference for assists per match during multiple seasons. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology following her volleyball career. She also possesses a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from Texas A&M School of Public Health.

The 2023-2024 season will be Coach Jyra's 11th season  coaching at Renegades, and her 3rd year as owner/director.
